Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Base Location: Cork
Salary: €55,00 - €82,400 depending on skills and experience, plus a range of other benefits to support your family, finances and wellbeing.
Working Pattern: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract ending August 2025.

Could you be our next Quantity Surveyor to join the team and drive this success forwards?
What will I be doing in this role?
We’re looking for a Quantity Surveyor to to support our Pleep highways electrical project in Cork. You’ll play a big role in keeping the project on track, managing costs, and making sure everything runs smoothly from start to finish.
In a typical day, you could expect to be;
- Assist with the procurement of sub-contractors & setting up contracts
- Prepare and submit monthly applications for payment to the client/clients representative
- Prepare and issue early warning notices and compensation events
- Submit invoices for certified values and ensure payments are received on time
- Value and authorise payments to sub-contractors
- Monitor project costs and report any variances
- Prepare the monthly CVR report
- Prepare weekly valuation report
- Attend and contribute to meetings with work colleagues and or clients/contractors when necessary
What do I need to be successful in the role?
- A degree qualification in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent industry experience
- A commercial understanding of contract price build ups
- A commercial understanding of applications, invoices and cost management.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Knowledge of various standard forms of contract - NEC required
- You must have a full UK or Irish driving license
Some of our ‘nice to haves’ are;
- Previous experience in street lighting and or a highways industry.
- Experience of asset management system.
